Information for residents

Please note this website is being updated.  For information about the disruption end dates please see the updated Community Impact Timeline.

G7 organisers are determined to make the 2021 G7 Summit an event for all residents in Cornwall to experience and share.

Local residents will see a substantial police and security presence in the run up to and during the G7 Summit, but should feel reassured and not alarmed by this.

The Force will deploy its breadth of policing expertise and technology to secure the venues and routes and ensure the safety of everyone. Residents can expect to see Force drones, the use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), specialist search, firearms, public order and specialist operational officers.
